Successful organization is seeking an HR Generalist with a strong benefits background.  The HR Generalist will report to the HR Manager and will be responsible for the following functions:
  • Oversee benefits open enrollment
  • Answer staff questions related to benefits
  • Track and verify time and attendance
  • Plan company community events and employee activities
  • Interview, test and hire hourly staff
  • Lead the company wellness program and initiatives
  • Facilitate new hire orientation
  • Complete human resources documentation and tracking
  • Other HR generalist duties as directed by the manager  
This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  Candidates will be required to be flexible with their work requirements and tasks.  This position does require candidates to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, good attendance and be able to manage multiple projects at a time.  Candidates should be patient and able to communicate at all levels. This is a salaried position with 401K, life insurance, medical, dental, vision, vacation and paid holidays, as well as bonus potential. 

REQUIREMENTS for the HR Generalist:
1. A bachelor’s degree with at least two years of similar HR experience, an associate’s degree with at least three years of similar HR experience or a high school diploma with at least 5 years of similar HR experience
2. Experience with company benefits administration, including open enrollment, answering benefits questions, overseeing the wellness program, etc.
3. Experience tracking time and attendance
4. Experience overseeing new hire orientation
5. Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Experience hiring hourly and/or salary staff
2. SHRM certification
3. HRIS experience

Candidates are preferred to be local to the Findlay, Ohio area. There is not a relocation package available at this time.
